Oddest observation about these anti-asian or derogatory phrases…
Most are said within the first 10 minutes or so of the movie. Gee,
if you’re an Asian person walking into a party, that’s like getting a
door slammed in your face. But, stay if you like so long as your nose
isn’t bleeding too badly.

Producers: Paramount Vantage, Likely Story, This is that Productions, Ivy Boy Productions
Backdrop: Some friends are driving cross-country to get away from an epidemic that’s causing people to drop like flies. They come across an Asian man strung up on a pole with a sign dangling from his neck that reads, “Chinks brought this”.
It implies that the Chinese brought the disease into the country. The scene
stirs up images of the heinous lynchings of African-americans in America’s dark history.

Or, some macaroni and dick-cheese
<mom>
Richard, that’s disgusting.

But, mom… there really is a cheese called “dick-cheese”. The Chinese make it.

Let’s do a song everybody… how about “Yellow Submarine”

How old is that song, “Yellow Submarine”? I don’t think it’s still
relevant in any sensible way. This was obviously a metaphor used
subliminally to cap off the bizarre dialogue.
“Dick cheese, anyone?” No?
“Sex with an Asian man, anyone?” No?

Dear Hollywood producers/writers,
Thanks for clarifying that Asian-americans were once railroad builders. But, a news flash: we’ve gone on to other occupations in the 140 years since the railroads were built.
Oh, and thanks for depicting Asian men like dogs… peeing on somebody’s rug? Really? (By the way, this isn’t the first time Asian men get depicted like dogs…
they did it with Jet Li in the movie, “Unleashed”, which by the way was originally
entitled, “Danny, the Dog”).
I wonder if women find it sexy when guys eat off the floor?
